My ex is ok that I still love him?

Oks so my last qeustion was why do I still think of him... Well prior to tht qeustion my ex came In contact with me again he called and apologized for everything that made us stop talking in the first place.... It was my fault and there was no reason for him to apolkgize or trust me again. Well we have gone back to being friends with benefits because we miss being together like tht. Well the other night I we were talking and I asked if he was thakful for the things I did for him cuz he was lonely and turned on. He then asked idk which r u? I told him I was neither because I dnt do this for just anyone I do it only for him. Well it went on blah blah blah and I told him the reason for tht was cuz I still loved him and he said he was fine tht I was still in love with him..... I found it weird cuz he always got annoyed or upset wen I said it before we stopped talking.... I dont want to ask him why he ok with it cuz I dont want to upset/annoy him.... So why all of the sudden does he have a change of heart for everything??? He even for the first time ever reminiced with me....
