My Sims 3 Launcher Won't Open?

Hello today i brought sims 3 and i installed it but wen i try to play the launcher won't open i've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling but it still doesn't work. i have also tried opening it by my computer but that also does not work. Can anyone help me please???? xxx
